QLONY POS Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how QLONY POS handles information when you use the QLONY POS application and related services.
1. Information processed by QLONY POS
Depending on the features you use, QLONY POS may process information such as:
- Google/Firebase account identifiers used for sign-in and licensing.
- Device information used for licensing, trial protection, security and device registration.
- Sales, products, stock, customers, suppliers, staff, credit records and other POS business data stored locally on your device.
- Application settings, backup metadata and security-related information.
2. Local business data
Core POS business data is designed to be stored locally on the user's device using the application's local database. QLONY does not treat locally stored POS records as cloud data unless a feature explicitly uploads or synchronizes them.
3. Authentication and licensing
QLONY POS may use Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication to identify your account. Licensing, trial status, entitlement status and registered-device information may be stored on QLONY-controlled backend systems.
4. Play Integrity and security
QLONY POS may use Google Play Integrity and related device/app signals to help verify that the app is genuine, licensed and running in an acceptable environment, and to help prevent abuse of trials or licenses.
5. Backups
QLONY POS may provide local backup and restore features. Backups created by the app may contain business records such as products, customers, suppliers, sales, credit records and staff-related data. Users are responsible for protecting any copies they export or store outside the app's control.
6. Google Drive backup
Google Drive backup is not enabled by default. If a cloud backup feature is introduced later, this policy will be updated before that feature is enabled for users.
7. How information is used
Information may be used to:
- authenticate users;
- activate and verify trials or paid access;
- enforce device limits and prevent abuse;
- operate and secure the application;
- provide support and account-management services;
- comply with legal obligations where applicable.
8. Data sharing
QLONY does not sell personal information. Certain service providers, such as Google Firebase and Google Play, may process limited information necessary to provide authentication, security, integrity, or infrastructure services.
9. Data retention
Account and licensing records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for account operation, security, fraud prevention, support, legal obligations, or the purposes described in this policy. Some security or fraud-prevention records may be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary and lawful.
10. Account and data deletion
Users may request deletion of their QLONY POS account and associated account data through the QLONY POS account deletion page:
https://qlony.com/pos/delete-account
Account deletion may include deletion of authentication records, account records, licensing entitlements, registered-device records and other server-side data associated with the account, subject to any clearly stated legal, security or fraud-prevention retention obligations.
Local POS databases and backups stored on a user's device remain under the user's control unless the QLONY POS app specifically removes them as part of a supported deletion flow. Copies previously exported by the user outside the app may need to be deleted manually by the user.
11. Children's privacy
QLONY POS is a business productivity application and is not directed to children.
12. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application, infrastructure, legal requirements or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
13. Contact
For privacy or account-deletion questions, use the official contact method published by QLONY or the account-deletion request page linked above.
